THE BUCKS LOCAL HISTORY NETWORK annual conference, organised under the auspices of the Buckinghamshire Archaeological Society, is a fixture in the diaries of several members. The John Hampden Society usually takes a stall in the accompanying fair and prepares a mini exhibition. This years conference will be held on Saturday 5th October at a new venue: the Methodist Church in Aylesbury.
The theme this year is “Food for thought – the development of agriculture in Buckinghamshire”
